This week for my first assignment in OBDF 210, I made a 3d Castle in Rhino. OH BOY, this project was such an informative review of what I learned in OBDF 110. I took inspiration from European castles and the school Hogwarts from Harry Potter. I had so many ideas in my head and I needed to start with sketches first to organize my thoughts. I decided at the beginning I wanted to have a simple style archway which lead me to repeat that design in many aspects of the castle's windows, doors and other features. Then I started to work on the blueprint of the Castle. I decided that building the towers would be a good start because it was one of the trickier design elements that I wanted to create in the castle. I found this part to be very tricky just because Booleanunite was not working in my favor.
